3 cups is just about an entire 2-6 of alcohol... which is way too much. I made these for a stagette and they were wicked strong. Great for getting drunk, however they didn't taste that great. Next time i will use 1/2 cup alcohol and 1/2 cup water for each layer and see if that helps. Also, my first layer didn't stick to my second layer...so i would suggest letting the first layer set for longer than an hour. Otherwise... awesome recipe, got a ton of compliments on them!!

OK, so it takes a bit longer than your "regular" jellyshot; IT'S SO IMPRESSIVE! Well worth the effort and the cherry is perfect for holding it! For those "ooh, my hands get messy" shooters you wish had stayed away from your party anyway! PERFECT for the 4th of July with a white layer instead of yellow!
