I'm planning to try this using mashed potato's with onions & cheese & ketchup on the meatball....a take off on shepards pie.

I don't do sauerkraut but just used a little more cheese and ranch dressing and they were a HIT... thanks

These were good, I could not find turkey meatballs, but found some beef ones that were good. I think they may have been smaller as we were thinking it could us a bigger half meatball. otherwise I did cut down on the caraway seed on the top, the second time I made them and liked them better

This is a great recipe! I did it different to fit my family but used the same concept of the meatballs and cresent rolls, but used pizza sauce and parmesan cheese instead of the sauerkraut and swiss cheese, plus chopped mushrooms! I was thinking of trying it with chopped chicken and spinach maybe!!! Thanks
