This is the ONLY refrigerated cookie dough that I will buy. It's criminal that it isn't available year round. I don't use the extra flour -the cookies turn out great without it. I do like to add raisins and/or nuts every now and again.

I love these cookies and do NOT add flour. Using a sharp knife, I remove the wrapper and slice the dough as thick or thin as desired. Thin for a crisp cookie. Place slices on ungreased sheet and sprinkle with sugar. Bake as directed. Wonderful with either milk or coffee and even better dunked! --Stella392

I made the cookies just as the directions said, and they came out of the oven soft and chewy...just the way I like them. The problem came later. They became rock hard! We could hardly eat them. My father threw his away, even though he loves gingerbread cookies! Dunking didn't help either!
