I did this on Sunday and my family loved it! I have a round waffle maker so I cut the crescents into 4 small squares and I sprinkled a bit of cinnamon before putting them on the maker. I then used a mixture of strawberry jam with fresh strawberries and bananas, and the family loved it! My husband could not believe that they were crescents. This is the one recipe I will be keeping (and sharing) with others. Thanks!

This was really convenient to make and easily scaled down for two (just get the small 4oz tube of crescents). I have a round waffle maker, so I just cut the unrolled (4oz) crescents into four small squares and just made a smaller square waffles. I also used strawberry jam and yogurt as someone suggested and it was a delicious alternative.

My family loves homemade waffles but I don't always have the time to make them from scratch and I don't want to do frozen. This is a nice quick alternative way to make them. Loved the idea with the fruit and nuts, anytime I can put more nutritional value in my kids breakfast all the better. Very creative way to use cresents.

This is awesome. I was looking for a breakfast recipe to fix for the elementary school teachers this month and this one will be great. Thank you for sharing this with me! This recipe will be quick and healthy. Thanks again.

Fantastic! I am NEVER going to use waffle batter ever again! Simple, healthy, and FAST, yet elegant enough to serve as a brunch meal. This is the prettiest food too, to serve to friends. Fabulous tip and the fruit sauce was incredible....this is only the second recipe I have tried, but this one may be the one that I vote for!!!! Good luck in the Cook Off!
