If you're looking for lower sodium in this recipe switch the type of biscuit out, as the one in the recipe has a ton of sodium. The frozen veggies are fine, and in some case better than fresh. I use them in all of my recipes that call for veggies. I also always end up putting peas and carrots in my pot pies. Walmart sells the Progresso pot pie soup, I actually just bought some a week and a half ago. If you want to substitute the soup out for a low sodium one, this recipe stills turns out great. This recipe, in my opinion is great after my Fiance just got done working out or playing basketbal

I would like to try this recipe but I have been to two Wegmans grocery stores looking for Progresso chicken pot pie soup but no luck. Any ideas where this is sold?

Maybe we should try it with fresh vegetables and homemade soup. Or just using the fresh vegetables. We all know that processed food always has lots of sodium. Make your own soup on the weekend and then make this during the week. :)

I am also considering the sodium in this recipe. I will definately have to adjust something... however I do love the idea of a biscuit on top.. YUM !

What is quick about a 30-min bowl of soup and a biscuit? Cute, but make a real pot pie and heat up the leftovers.

While 1530mg of sodium is a lot, I would think that most responsible adults would be able to figure out how to edit a recipe themselves instead of putting the responsibility on a corporation. Take responsibility for your own health. I do not have very low blood pressure and love salt. This recipe is wonderful for me.

I totally agree with thefrugal housewife. High blood pressure is a serious problem for so many people. A dish with 1530 mg of sodium is terrible. That is my limit for an entire day. I would be more inclined to try your recipes if they were more realistic in lowering sodium and fat levels. Many people are trying to eat healthy, and as a responsible corporation, I would think you would aid them in that effort.

It looks very good but if I made it I could not eat it. It is way to high in sodium with 1530 mg of sodium for my low sodium diet.
