Congrats to the winner, and I absolutely love to bake, but was disappointed by Pillsbury on this recipe. I'm am sorry to disagree with many, but this recipe is just way to time consuming and delicate for the average baker. I like to think I am an advanced baker, but would not recommend this recipe to a friend as most of my friends who get on Pillsbury site for recipes are novice bakers.

To those that are so worried that it may take some time to prepare, you need to remember that there are some of us who REALLY love to cook and we appreciate some recipes that don't just 'whip' together. That is some of the fun and challenge of making a fabulous dish. I personally can't wait to try this recipe . . I think it sounds delish!!! Congratulations, Christina, on your win! Have a blast with it!! ;~)

This looks yummy. I'll have to make it one day! Too all the people that are saying that it looks complicated, wow it has 6 steps. Sorry its not remove from freezer, open package and stick in mouth. You go Christina, it must have tasted like heaven for a million bucks. Enjoy.

Christina, Congratulations to you and your family! Everyone who met you at the contest remarked on your kindness. I was competing in the sweet treats category too, and as soon as I saw your recipe, I knew it was a contender. Way to go! I am inspired to get back to work creating new recipes. Pillsbury staff, how do you do it? All of the events were fabulous and no one missed a beat. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Laura

Wow, those that are “reviewing” with negative comments not only are insulting the winner (I think it is a fabulous recipe!), you are insulting the numerous people who judged and put all this together. Do you really think that they would go to all that trouble and expense to give something not deserved? I am thinking that you missed the lesson in Kindergarten that if you can’t say something nice keep your mouth shut! I didn’t but I have chosen to let you know how rude you are being to people who you don’t know and don’t deserve it. Can not rate till I try it, but really it has pumpkin!

Labor Intensive!!! This makes me mad for Christina's sake! If you can't cook just admit it and tell your Momma you're a cry baby. Christina, I'm sure the PROFESSIONALS at Pillsbury have picked a TRUE WINNER and I will be honored to try this recipe! I have never invented my own recipe for a contest but have always wanted too! Wow, a million dollars! I am soooo happy for you! You enjoy your prize and FAME! To all you HATERS out there - get a life. I am handicapped (cannot stand for very long) and cooking has become somewhat of a chore. Don't criticize so much; enjoy life!

I have been doing similar recipes with Pillsbury® refrigerated dough sheet for years. And I do one almost exactly as this one with diffrent fillings. I use almost the same ingredients...cinammon, vanila, sugar etc... I called my recipe empanadas and for me they are just deserts creations. I would have never imagen that a simple recipe such as this would win 1,000,000.00 dollars. My God why I haven't enter this contest!

I can't wait to try this recipe. I adore pumpkin, but never seem to use up a whole can of pumpkin when I bake. I have some in the fridge right now that I'll use tonight on this recipe. I often put caramel sauce over pumpkin cheesecake or pie during the holidays, and it's an awesome combination! Contratulations Christine!
