Ok - Forget my post. Sometimes I swear I have brain damage. I now see it's 1/3 of a cup!

I know it says a 1/3 of a can of pumpkin, but I've seen two different sizes of pumpkin puree, so what size and/or how much i.e. a cup, two cups?

I'm making this tonight but I am confused by the recipe... it says one package of cream cheese but it say 3oz, a standard package is 8 oz... so what did everyone else use? 8 or 3 oz?

P.S. Forgot to tell you that I throw Pecans halves at bottom (spray pan well with PAM) with first layer of dough, then more pecans and another layer, and the last layer, fill gaps w/pecans....or walnuts if you prefer....people have BEGGED me for this recipe and ask me to bring it when I'm invited to their house!

Everyone LOVES Monkey Bread- in the original recipe I changed it from grands to cinnamon rolls and got bigger rave reviews (try the regular monkey bread receipe and substitue the cinnamon top rolls- more moist after baking also)! This recipe is awesome, but also used cinnomon top rolls; savor the cinnamon...it's a WOW and Five Stars for me. Thanks!

I don't have a 10 cup flute pan. The recipe indicates to use a 6 cup. Would it turn out okay to use the 10 cup? if not, would a round cake pan work?
Thank you much,
lc

I absolutely refuse to buy pumpkin pie spice--it's the easy way out, AND I already have a full (okay, overflowing) spice rack that I prefer to use. What combination of spices can I use instead of pumpkin pie spice?

@ rmatross... I've made other monkey breads in other pans and it worked just fine. I think the fluted pan is for the pretty ring affect, but you can use other pans and flip it when its ready. Good luck :)
@ josaphine54... great ideas, I can't wait to add those ideas!
