Peppermint Brownie Bars
What is better than chocolate and peppermint? Not many things. Blogger Bree Hester of
shares a recipe for Peppermint Brownie Bars that are not only heavenly—and so very easy to make. During the busy holiday season, it is nice to have a few great recipes like this one in your back pocket—recipes with fewer than five ingredients and which take no time at all to put together. Package them up and you have a festive, holiday gift everyone will love.

roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated peppermint sugar cookies
box (18.3 oz) milk chocolate brownie mix
tablespoons powdered sugar, if desired
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. Cut cookie dough in half crosswise; cut each section in half lengthwise. Press dough in bottom of pan.
Make brownie batter as directed on box for 13x9-inch pan, using water, vegetable oil and eggs; spread batter over cookie dough.
Bake as directed on brownie box; cool. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows; dust with powdered sugar before serving.
