FYI for all you bakers out there. Pillsbury increased the second baking time because of the eggs in the cookie dough. When I make it, I only bake the cookie layer for 18 minutes, not 23-28. Also, I bake the brownie layer for 22, not 25 minutes. I like these very gooey. Joanna

Another dessert that is very rich but also very good! My neighbor likes them so well that he told me I can substitute what "was" his favorite dessert, cream horns, for these brownies any day. I've made them twice in a very short length of time. They freeze well.

I made these for a Relay For Life bake sale. They were the biggest hit of the night and I wish I had made a double batch! Kids and adults alike were coming back to buy 2nds and 3rds, and were nearly in tears when they found that they were sold out. VERY decadent and rich, I will make them again for bake sales and an infrequent (and therefore very special!) treat for my family! Also, I plan to cut a few minutes off baking time for the brownie layer alone, and a minute or 2 less for the cookie layer as well.

I made these and they were absolutely wonderful. I'm afraid I wasn't as exacting as Joanna was. That's probably why she won the bake-off contest. I pinched off pieces of the cookie dough and sprinkled the bits over the brownie mix off figuring they would spread with the heat and they did. I didn't have pralines. Used an all mixed peanut snack mixture, coarsely mashed --along with chopped walnuts. Also, threw in a handful or so of craisins...Love those little devils. Turned out great, if I must say so myself.
