Casserole

(32-oz.) pkg. frozen southern-style hash-brown potatoes

tablespoon instant minced onion
3/4
teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon garlic powder

(12-oz.) container small curd cottage cheese
1
(8-oz.) container sour cream
1/2
cup milk
4
oz. (1 cup) shredded Cheddar cheese

Topping

tablespoon butter, melted
1/2
cup corn flake crumbs

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 12x8-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In large bowl, combine all casserole ingredients; mix well. Spoon evenly into sprayed baking dish. Spray sheet of foil with cooking spray; place, sprayed side down, over baking dish.
  2. 2 Bake at 375°F. for 35 minutes. Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine topping ingredients; mix well.
  3. 3 Uncover baking dish; sprinkle with topping. Bake an additional 25 to 35 minutes or until mixture is bubbly and top is golden brown.
