Ingredients

cups cold water

bottle (16 oz) pomegranate juice

cup sugar

cinnamon sticks (2 to 3 inch)

teaspoons whole allspice
1/2
teaspoon whole cloves

tea bags black tea

Directions

  1. 1 In 4- to 5-quart slow cooker, stir together water, pomegranate juice and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Add cinnamon sticks, allspice and cloves. Cut paper label from tea bags. Tie strings of bags together to keep bags attached; place in slow cooker.
  2. 2 Cover; cook on High heat setting 4 hours. Remove tea bags; remove spices with small strainer before serving.
