I made these for a late night dinner. It was quick and easy. I doubled the recipe so the guys would have plenty. My husband loved them and ate three pretzels himself. They were warm out of the oven. He didn't even bother with the sauce.

This recipe is appropriate for many occasions - up to and including entertaining a group. It is perfect to make certain that everybody gets served with an individual snack, not just one slice. I like the idea of sharing the creation of each snack with the young people. Kids should start learning the joys of cooking. Using the sauce for dipping rather than in the dough prevents messes quite well. There are no negatives in this recipe. Just get a head count in advance, in order to shop for enough products to allow for one per person-plus enough sauce for everybody to get some tor dipping.

I made a lighter version that only has 380 calories by cutting the pizza crust in six but it was still delisious and my family still loved it!
