EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

You can substitute 2 cups frozen diced onion and green bell pepper or look for chopped fresh vegetables in the produce department.

Bulk Italian pork sausage can be used in place of the ground beef. You’ll want to drain it before adding the pizza sauce.

Coarsely chop the onion and bell pepper in a food processor fitted with a chopping blade.

I just read the recipe and it sounds tasty. It might even be good open-faced on a toasted English muffin with a quick chees melt under the broiler. I'll be back to rate this recipe after we try it.
