Instead of pepperoni, use spinach, chopped tomato's and some feta cheese or part skim mozzarella. This will cut the calories and fat down!

Great recipe for experimenting with different types of food. I use scrambled eggs and cheese for the filling. My family usually doesn't go for eggs for dinner, but in this flaky crust all liked the recipe.

I almost submitted a recipe very similar to this one for the Pillsbury Bake Off, now I am glad I didn't considering they have one very close.

I read the ingredients and did a double take as well!! I am almost surprised that Pillsbury would promote such unhealthy stuff!!

Pillsbury! You gotta be kidding!!! 4 1/2 grams of trans fats? .... For those of you interested in what the “trans fat daily intake limit" is....the answer is ZERO! Trans fats cause significant and serious lowering of HDL (good) cholesterol and a significant and serious increase in LDL (bad) cholesterol, makes the arteries more rigid, causes major clogging of arteries, causes insulin resistance, causes or contributes to type 2 diabetes, and causes or contributes to other serious health problems. Your heart runs on fat. Should be Essential Fatty Acids - NOT trans fat!

I made two of these little pizzas using this recipe and we loved them. So much better then store bought and even better then the Pizza shop. I added some oregano and a little more sauce and cheese. They were THE best!

Easy, quick and so versatile!! Use the "basic recipe" as written, however, since nothing is "written in stone" you can go as basic or as elaborate as you want. I've done this twice now, and both varied from the exact recipe, but were very tasty. One version, I had some leftover stir-fry, and made a Thai Chicken "Pizza"....the other one, I had some meatballs and roasted red peppers as a leftover, broke them up and used them in place of the pepperoni....MAJOR YUM!!!

Sue1357, I will be making this with the reduced fat crescents, turkey pepperoni, lighter cheese and adding veggies. That will bring the calorie and fat down a bit. I can't wait to get home to make them! :)
