I made these for the first time last night. I used biscuits instead of the crescent rolls. Just put the flaky biscuit on top of the opening and pressed it in. Hubby loved them so much and I had extra goop from last night that tonight we are trying with the crescent rolls....It's gonna be a staple around here for a while

These are a BIG hit in my house!! I take 2 of the crescents and roll them together in a ball. Then, I press it into the pan. They come out much bigger and more filling. I top generously with 6 blend italian cheese as well. These are great for lunch boxes or picnics! You can't go wrong with these!

These were super yummy and super easy. Def keeping this recipe handy. I loved it. I will mention they say you can pop them right in your mouth which hubby tried to do and almost burned his mouth! Those puppies are hot in the middle!

Made these baby's for the first time, hampered by my lack of cooking skill/desire and wife's refusal to eat "the other white meat". So, I used turkey pepperoni and some leftover lean ground beef.
The hardest part was figuring out a good way to fold the dough triangles to best fit into the cupcake pan (a diagram would have helped!), but it was not impossible...and they came out great! If she (who knows all) doesn't take at least one to work for lunch tomorrow, I'll be surprised. They were really excellent, IMO.

Been making these for a long time, so many different ideas using the pillsbury products. I fill with sauce, pepperoni and mozzarella, if I have some sauted mushrooms or peppers to use up I use them as well.

You can make so many great recipes using a cupcake pan. I even make mini apple pies using that type of pan with Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust. Yummy! You go Pillsbury!! Love your products. :)

This was today's e-mail (1-24-13) and we already planned to have it for dinner. I used to have these when I was younger. We make them a little bit different and ours look more appealing. We use small biscuits, hamburg, cheese on top, and a large slice of pepperoni.

Yes this recipe is a generation or two in the making but if we don't repeat or bring back recipes or reprint them then they sometimes don't get passed along. There is a new generation of cooks everyday and more and more kids are cooking and feeding themselves at home so it is good to bring back many of the tried and true favorites to share with everyone especially now that we have the internet and pinterest to learn from. Thanks for reposting the oldies but goodies.
