I agree with all the other reviewers, this pie is wonderful and definitely a keeper. My problem was the filling was very loose and had just blended together in a pudding consistency by the time I got it out of the dish, there were no distinguishable layers. Did anyone else encounter this? Thanks.

It is very delicious and it should be at 900 calories per slice! Yikes! This is a once a year treat! But it is well worth the 900 calories.

The pineapple extract i used to make this pie was from the makers of shank flavoring. I purchased mine in Lancaster,Pa.
