Sometimes I am just not in the mood for plain hotdog. I make the pig in the blanket with hotdog and american cheese.. This is one of my husband favorite.

We tried this recipe for the super bowl last year and the first request this year from the kids were Can we do the piglets in a blanket? Fun to make and delicious snack during the Super Bowl!

These were so simple to make and were better than a hot dog on a bun on a Saturday. The crescent roll was golden on the outside and warm and flaky on the inside.

I have made this many times over and always a success. I have used cocktail weiners instead and put cheddar cheese inside also. You can use different meats inside also, in a pinch I had to use Ham Slices, then added Swiss Cheese. What ever you decide to do, they will be a HIT!!

These are great! I brushed the tops with egg wash and sprinkled seseme seeds on them...a little fancier for big people's parties!
