Ingredients

slices (1-inch-thick) French bread

cup pesto

small tomatoes, seeded and chopped (1 cup)

cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Place bread slices on ungreased cookie sheet.
  2. 2 Spread each slice bread with a scant tablespoon of the pesto. Top with tomatoes; sprinkle with cheese.
  3. 3 Bake about 8 minutes or until hot and cheese is melted.
