This was an okay recipe, but I made it great! I added more sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. I added butter, vanilla, and brown sugar to the ingredients as well. The pie crust was great! I added some flour to both pie crusts to make it more flaky. I would like to thank Maverick37 for that tip! This is a very easy apple pie recipe. Thanks Phillsbury!!!!

This is the Perfect Apple Pie! So easy to make with Pillsbury Pie Crust. I always put a few drops of milk and cinnamon sugar on the top crust to give it that special homemade look. My husband loves this recipe and as long as I can get fresh apples, I'll make it for him.

try sprinkling a few of the red cinnamon candies in with the apples. Will give the pie a rosey hue and a really good cinnamon taste.

I have used Pillsbury pie crusts for years. I always roll them out. Flour the counter top, unroll the crust on the flour, sprinkle the crust with flour, and spread the flour with your hands, roll the crust out, then put it in the pan. Do the same with the top crust. Guaranteed flaky! Cut the excess around the pan, roll it into a ball, then roll it out, to make a turnover.
