I have a box of the large elbow macaroni. Not sure where I found it but it is made by Creamette.

NanaBop For large elbow macaroni, just substitute Barilla Celentani-these are like thick curlicue elbows (I use this macaroni all the time when I make quattro formaggi-italian mac and cheese. I have never seen large elbows myself. The celentani hold up fine in baked pasta dish like this or you could use rigatoni, also good for heavier sauces. Just don't cook them all the way, stop cooking two minutes before whatever time the box gives. Then you won't have soggy pasta.

Where in the world do you find "Large elbow macaroni"???? I realized about a year ago I hadn't seen any, and have made a real effort to find packages of the large elbow size...not giant size, just not the tiny size which is the only one any brand sells. Can't even find it on Amazon!! Guess we have to buy the Kraft Mac & cheese, and use their macaroni??
