Now, do you have to roll them in sugar, because I'm making them and my grandpa who is diabetic loves to try what I make?

Yes, I agree that the flour should have been listed in with the ingredients, but it was easy enough for me to figure out. Since I didn't need that many cookies I cut the roll in half and froze the rest. Mixed in 1/4 cup of flour. Dipped in large crystal sugar and crushed candy canes and baked. I then added one holiday white chocolate chip in the center when I took them out of the oven. We aren't big on chocolate kisses, sorry. They turned out very nice and festive looking too. Great recipe.

Yes, CDSHP, the directions as printed are slightly confusing. The 1/2 cup flour should have been listed (right in there between the roll of cookie dough and the sugar). Google the recipe for Peanut Butter Blossoms cookies and you'll see the similarities in these two cookie creations. Good luck; both are irresistable!

CDSHP....did you get a chance to read the directions? You take the tube of dough, add 1/2 cup of flour and knead together. Then you take dough, make 72 little balls and roll in the sugar. Hope this helps...

This recipe is confusing...the ingredient list says 6 tablespoons sugar (no flour), and the directions speak to 1/2 cup flour (no sugar)? I would like to try this but don't want to waste either.
