Pecan-Cream Cheese Bars

Ingredients

box yellow cake mix
1
cup chopped pecans
1/2
cup butter, melted

eggs
1
package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1
bag (1 lb) powdered sugar

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease 13x9- inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  2. 2 In large bowl, stir cake mix, pecans, butter and 1 of the eggs with spoon until well blended. Press mixture in bottom of pan.
  3. 3 In medium bowl, beat remaining 2 eggs, the cream cheese and powdered sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Pour over cake mix base.
  4. 4 Bake 40 minutes or until set. Cool completely on cooling rack. Cut into 5 rows by 3 rows.
