I am not a pear person but this sounded so good I had to try it. I made it last night and entered it into our Pie Contest at our Church Harvest Festival and Won! It was awesome and everyone asked me for the recipe. If you like sweets this is the pie for you!

I am NOT an apple pie person, but decided to make this for my husband who LOVES apple pie. I have to say, this is simply amazing! It takes on an almost cookie-like texture. Phenomenal flavor, easy to make....and gone before it gets the chance to cool!!! YUM!!!

I LOVE this pie! I doctored the sauce and added some Apple Jack brandy to it, and it was heavenly! Had some fresh picked Asian pears, and apples and it is a marriage made in heaven! Sharing it with all my friends on facebook!

This recipe is outstanding!!!! Made the pie, but left off the top crust, entered it into the local fair, won First Prize. It was auctioned off for the high bid of $80.00
