My cookies are very dry and tough. Maybe adding butter and an egg to the cookies, peanut butter & chips may moisten them up? Cooking a little less?
Any ideas from anyone???

I had to cook the dough longer than the package instructed. I ended up cooking them for about 10 minutes.
