box (1 lb 2.4 oz) brownie mix
Water, oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
2
cups miniature marshmallows
1/3 cup peanut butter chips
1/4 cup lightly salted dry-roasted peanuts
1/2 cup coarsely crushed creme-filled peanut butter sandwich cookies (about 5 cookies)
1
cup milk chocolate frosting (from 1-lb container)
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Line 9-inch square pan with foil; spray foil with cooking spray. Make brownies as directed on box, using water, oil and eggs. Pour batter into pan.
  • 2 Bake 34 to 37 minutes or until almost set in center. Immediately sprinkle brownies with marshmallows, peanut butter chips, peanuts and cookies. Bake 2 to 3 minutes longer or until marshmallows puff.
  • 3 In small microwavable bowl, mix frosting and peanut butter. Microwave uncovered on High 30 seconds or until pourable. Drizzle over brownies. Cool completely on cooling rack. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows.

I just made these... they look great! No idea why the recipe calls for so much of the frosting/peanut butter "drizzle".... it made enough for a pan twice the size! (I will cut in half the next time)

Delicious! I thought they might be too sweet with everything that is on top, but they were really good. The peanut butter taste is awesome with the chocolate. Took it to work, everyone loved it as well as my family. Will make again.
