Peanut Butter Crunch Brownies

This bar is comprised of four delicious layers. Spread the caramel layer to within 1/4 inch of the side of the pan. The bars are easier to remove when the caramel does not touch the side of the pan.

Brownies were a fantastic hit at work. But, I'll never make again! Paying over $30.00 for one 13x9 pan of brownies was not worth it. I work for a living.. and just doing something nice for my fellow associates put me in a bind. NEVER AGAIN

These brownies are the best I've ever tasted. My family and friends rave about them and compare the taste to a Snickers bar. They keep fresh for a while, although I can never keep them for very long because they are gobbled up quickly if the kids and grandkids are around! I highly recommend this recipe, especially for a potluck.

I made this recipe for the grownups to eat at a children''s birthday party (hey, the kids can have cake!). Everyone really liked the combination of flavors: chocolate, caramel, peanut butter, with the salty pretzels. Yum! However, I would probably not make this recipe again because it was very difficult to cut and remove from the pan. The chocolate top would crack unevenly when I cut into the bars, and it was hard to get to the bottom of the pan.

This recipe is SOOOOO good. I fell in love with it, and so did everyone else. I even made it for a church gathering(Lg Crowd!!)and they were gone in seconds. I did omit the pretzels, just for personal preference, but i send everyone to this site and tell them about Cindy''s WONDERFUL brownies!!!

My family really liked this recipe. It tasted very good, however it took too long in my opinion. Overall, I would recommend this recipe.
