I made some yesterday just to try them out, and they turned out great! I made two batches, one with m&ms and the second with chopped peanut butter cups, and they both turned out delicious. The only thing I would change is the peanut butter filling. I had a spreading problem, too. I had to use my hands to spread the peanut butter mixture because it was too thick and spread easily. Otherwise, excellent recipe! I would recommend to anyone who enjoys baking sweets.

I make this all of the time and everyone loves it. I have a few family members that don't like peanut butter, so I frost 1/2 of the cookie with just the frosting and the other 1/2 I mix with 1/2 of the peanut butter and finish the recipe. My family loves it even the ones that don't like peanut butter

Ok I admit, I am not a cook. So this didn't go that easy for me. I found 1 pkg of cookie dough wasn't enough, I also found that if I make this again, do not use cheap peanut butter, it doesn't spread as well. Also the baggie I put the chips in, melted along with the chips, what a mess! Luckily I had more chips and melted them in a bowl, then put in bag. My bars didn't look anything like the picture, but they tasted really good anyways. I will make again, but with some adjustments.
