I started making these cookies as soon as the recipe has come out. They are by far the BEST cookies ever! I have nothing negative to say about these, if you love peanut butter and brownies these are the go to cookie.

I think the brownie cookies are great but I change out the peanut butter with a rolo. I make the recipe as above but instead of making cookies, I use a mini muffin pan and make little mini muffin bites. While they are baking, I unwrap the rolos and let them get room temperature. Once the muffin bites are out of the oven, I put a rolo on top of a muffin and push it down into the center. Then after those cool down, I put a little chocolate frosting on top. Friends, family and co-workers love my brownie muffin bites.

I agree. The p.butter and confectionery sugar combination isn't quite right. Maybe, a little less on the sugar. Will try that next time.

I usually am a scratch baker but a friend made these for a Valentine cookie day at work. They were so good and very easy. I had to have the recipe. At first I didn't think they were going to look like the picture but they really do. They are worthy of making and sharing.

VERY easy. And they look just the photo. Watch the bottoms b/c they do brown quickly. I chilled my dough and the PB filling. Instead of the frosting I made a ganache to drizzle over so that is hardens for easier packing to take to the party. Hopefully they taste as good as they look.

I made these for a cookie exchange and they do not look ANYTHING like the picture. But they are out of this world!! I am VERY curious just how they got them to look like that. I found the dough to be just incredibly sticky and the peanut butter stuck to my hands also. I am attempting them again today. I am going to take the former advice of putting them in the refridgerater for a little while. Wish me luck.

Wonderful recipe! I made this with my 3 year old niece and my 8 year old nephew. We forgot the icing, so we made some from the Hershey's Cocoa Powder box recipe, but it was a BLAST!!! So much fun to do as a family, and amazingly easy to make... Took some hints, and used 3/4 cup powdered sugar, and still had some left in the bowl after we were done, but not as much as we would have had if we'd used a full cup... I suggest this recipe for families with children, or people with coworkers who have a sweet tooth, lol!
