You do not have to make these if you dont like the fat and calorie count. Look somewhere else if your not happy about it.

Gandksmom - You should realize that it's not "one cookie." It's a pie. Each one has 1/8th of a package of pie dough in it, just like a plain old slice of apple or cherry pie. A quick glance at the picture might fool you into thinking "cookie," but that's deceptive. It's much more like a turnover, and with that in mind, the calorie and fat content isn't really that bad at all. I tried with raspberry jam, by the way. AWESOME.

I wish Pillsbury would provide a comment board for those who continually complain about nutritional information, ingredient lists, fat and sodium comments and everything else when they obviously have not tried the recipe, or make it clear they have no intention to.I read these to see how others like them, not personal opinion or dietary restriction.
I tried these and they turned out well..I used grape jelly as that is all i had on hand but strawberry was requested next time...these turned out to be a great treat, which after all is what dessert is supposed to be.

I wish Pillsbury would invest in making some healthier recipes. 480 calories in one cookie and 22 grams of fat?! I'd rather eat a steak if I'm going to consume that much! So many of the recipes are just impractical nutritionally. :(

Has anyone tried these with grape jelly instead of strawberry? My kids don't like strawberry, but love grape! Just wondering if the grape jelly would melt too much??? Sounds yummy though!! :)

Although these sound okay..I am not a big fan of sweets..I think I am going to make a pulled pork filling and make mini sandwiches out of these...let you know how they turn out..

Simple recipe, but even so, not worth the time. In addition to the peanut butter and strawberry version, I tried chocolate cookie dough and raspberry jelly. Still not impressed. Won't try again.

These were delicious and easy however since I only found the simply cookies I used those. I made them before reading stephie's review and she is right, mine were probably overfilled because they oozed all over but cooled hard enough to still be takeable. I used raspberry too...great minds think alike they were tartly sweetly delicious that way!

This was super easy and tasted great! I used strawberry jelly on half the pies and raspberry preserves on half the pies. I liked the way the tartness from the raspberry balanced out the sweetness from the peanut butter cookie better than the strawberry. be careful not to overfill the cookie or the pit top will burst and the jelly/preserves will ooze out.
