You do not have to make these if you dont like the fat and calorie count. Look somewhere else if your not happy about it.

Gandksmom - You should realize that it's not "one cookie." It's a pie. Each one has 1/8th of a package of pie dough in it, just like a plain old slice of apple or cherry pie. A quick glance at the picture might fool you into thinking "cookie," but that's deceptive. It's much more like a turnover, and with that in mind, the calorie and fat content isn't really that bad at all. I tried with raspberry jam, by the way. AWESOME.

I wish Pillsbury would provide a comment board for those who continually complain about nutritional information, ingredient lists, fat and sodium comments and everything else when they obviously have not tried the recipe, or make it clear they have no intention to.I read these to see how others like them, not personal opinion or dietary restriction. I tried these and they turned out well..I used grape jelly as that is all i had on hand but strawberry was requested next time...these turned out to be a great treat, which after all is what dessert is supposed to be.

I wish Pillsbury would invest in making some healthier recipes. 480 calories in one cookie and 22 grams of fat?! I'd rather eat a steak if I'm going to consume that much! So many of the recipes are just impractical nutritionally. :(

Has anyone tried these with grape jelly instead of strawberry? My kids don't like strawberry, but love grape! Just wondering if the grape jelly would melt too much??? Sounds yummy though!! :)
