Peanut Butter and Jam-Filled Waffles

slices bacon, if desired

frozen buttermilk, low-fat or multi-grain waffles
1/2
cup creamy peanut butter
1/4
cup strawberry or any flavor jam or preserves

Directions

  1. 1 Cook bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels; set aside.
  2. 2 Toast waffles as directed on package. Spread 4 waffles with peanut butter and half of the jam. Top each waffle with 2 bacon slices, breaking slices to fit waffles.
  3. 3 Top with remaining waffles; press slightly. Place on individual serving plates; drizzle with remaining jam. Serve with knife and fork.
