Under the picture it does say these cookies are made with: sugar cookies, peanut butter and bacon. Did they forget that ingredient?

make these using refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough. Also used the precooked bacon pieces that is made for baking in a little bag and chop it a little finer or use the bacon in the box that is precooked and chop in a blender/chopper. Instead of chopping peanuts used whole honey roasted peanuts. Sprinkle some finely chopped bacon bits on top of frosting and I used the sugar free vanilla Pillsbury frosting to cut down on some calories and sugar.

Made these using peanut butter cookie dough and instead of taking the time to fry bacon used the ready to use cooked bacon and used the whole package. Put it in my food chopper and made the pieces about the size of a pea. I also used whole honey roasted peanuts instead of chopped peanuts for more sweet to go with the salty of the bacon & sprinkled some fine bacon crumbs on top of the frosting. You can buy baking bacon-precooked in little bags and still chopped it finer.

Sooo! The ingredients underneath the picture says it has peanut butter in it. But recipes does not show it. I would make if there is peanut butter in them.

For all of you that are asking where the peanut butter is in this recipe, notice the ( - ) between bacon and butter. It's means butter bacon. So pronounce it as peanut, butter-bacon cookies.

Actually-I agree with not putting frosting on them. I believe they would stand out just fine on their own. My Father-in-Law makes an awesome homemade maple, pecan bacon ice-cream!! Sounds completely odd, i know. But once you taste it, it's delish!! :)

Okay so I saw this in an email and I was like: Whoa! Bacon and Cookies--TOGETHER?! This should be interesting....after looking at the other reviews, I'm convinced that this probably isn't a very good treat.....I don't think bacon and frosting should ever be together...its just wrong...

Peanut Butter??...Blah taste. We have a family member that can't have chopped nuts, but can have creamy peanut butter. SO I thought this would be good according to the title. But alas no flavor without the PB. If there is a recipe correction I will try again.

I have not made this recipe yet but it sounds very interesting. I like all of the ingredients. I am curious though - there is no peanut butter in the recipe as the title suggests. Is the title supposed to be Peanut-Bacon Cookies or is the recipe supposed to include peanut butter (either peanut butter cookie dough or adding peanut butter?

Did I miss something? Where is the peanut butter in this recipe? It just states peanuts.
