I have read several complaints asking where the peanut butter is in the recipe. They are called Peanut,Bacon Cookies..meaning there are peanuts in the recipe. It does not say peanut butter anywhere. It cant be that hard to substitute peanut butter dough if you want to.But i all fairness no where does it claim to be a peanut butter recipe.

Words fail me. These are the best...cookies....ever! I actually ignored the peanuts because I didn't want to mess with the bacon-maple sugar combo, and they tasted just like French toast. Amazing!

I made this recipe but used peanut butter cookie dough instead of sugar cookie dough and skipped out on the peanuts. Everybody that tried them said they were really good and that they almost tasted like a breakfast cookie. Even people that said they didn't like peanut butter cookies, liked these cookies. They were absolutely wonderful and I fully intend to make them again.

The caption lists peanuts, not peanut butter.

We had a game night at the house and I made these cookies, my husband has taken them to work, and we have also taken them to family dinner. I will not tell any one what is in them until they try them, as the one posted below thought disgusting ... well not every one that has tried them loves them and wants the recipe. I am making some now for Chritmas.
