I've made this several times now and everyone loves it. The sauce makes it so much more special than a peach pie. Printed several copies of this recipe as everyone always wants it once they've tasted it.

Just made this this morning and it was wonderful and not hard at all.. my husband loved it and I didn't have ice cream so we ate it without that and it was still great. I will make it again.. ( The pie crust instrutions were really not very clear and I am an a cook from back when you had to make your own pie crusts )

I cannot believe so many are actually confused about the "TWO" pie crusts. Either combine the 2 to make a large 13 inch circle, or forget the 13 inches in directions, use common sense and roll each crust out to be cut into sections big enough to wrap around a peach half for dumplings. If you have to rely on directions being SO EXACT, maybe you should just buy your desserts!

I made this for the 1st time tonight and both my husband and I really enjoyed it! I had been so busy fixing the main course that I even compeltely forgot to make the sauce for over top and we still really enjoyed it! And once you know how to make it, its actually pretty simple and really enjoyable. (I think the 2 crusts are because you have to roll the dough out even thinner to get to the 13inches).

This was just ok. The dough was a little dry - I thought it would be more like a dumpling testure. I would not make this again.

I haven't made this yet because I'm not sure why I need two piecrusts when the instructions only talk about using one.

I travel in my camper, so I love receipes that do not have to bealtered w/altitude. Dumplings & Cobblers are the best.
