My 10 year old has been making herself breakfast smoothies just like this. We use 1 container of yogurt and usually add a little more frozen fruit, some whey protein or an instant breakfast mix, milk or juice, and ice. We make many combinations with different fruit such as bananas, blueberries, blackberries, rasberries, mango, straberries, peaches, etc.

We have smoothies pretty much every morning. Instead of yogurt we use coconut milk (rich but not coconutty), fresh fruit, a few frozen strawberries, a little avacado (great brain food and good fat), and a raw egg (we buy only organic) for protein. The whole family loves these!

Quick and easy. Add a handful of spinach, you won't be able to taste it and it's a great way to add extra vitamins without the kid's knowing. Sometimes I sneak in carrots too.
