Pasta with Olives and Fresh Tomatoes

oz. uncooked spaghetti

large tomatoes

(4-oz.) can sliced ripe olives, drained

teaspoons dried basil leaves or 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

teaspoon garlic powder

teaspoon salt

teaspoon pepper

teaspoons olive oil

oz. (1/2 cup) shredded fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Cook spaghetti to desired doneness as directed on package.
  • 2 Meanwhile, chop tomatoes; place in large bowl. Stir in all remaining ingredients except cheese.
  • 3 Drain spaghetti. Add to tomato mixture; toss gently to mix. Sprinkle with cheese.
