This was excellent. My whole family loved it. But I had made several tweeks. First, I was out of spinach and tomatoes. I used turkey bacon in place of regualr bacon. When the bacon and garlic finished cooking, I just added the pasta and then the egg & milk sauce. I used regular yogurt instead of greek yogurt. I have found that the trick to getting a greek yogurt consistancy is to spoon the regular yogurt into a coffee filter and have the filter sitting in a strainer over a bowl. After letting it sit in the fridge for 30 mins or so, the extra water in yogurt drains out - giving it a mor

I couldn't believe how terribly written this recipe was - they never re-incorporated the bacon and garlic, for one. Also, 4 cups of fresh spinach doesn't really fit in a skillet. If you are making this, it's better to put the spinach in the pot with the pasta during the last 1-2 minutes of boiling, that's a much easier way to cook it down. Overall, the end product was very bland. Super disappointing.

I also noticed the bacon and garlic were lost in the process. As an old cook, I would add them back in with the egg mixture and other ingredients.

Sounds very good, but, as a new cook WHEN? do I add the bacon?

I made this for my housemates and I... we loved it, but there was almost not enough for the four of us! I think I'd make it with chicken next time to add a little more sustenance to the meal. I also made it with low fat ingredients and it was just as tasty!!

My hubby and I love the best known version of this dish and are extremely happy with the lower cal version. We both have health issues that cause us to eat healthier than we did 15 years ago, so we are both always searching for remakes of favorites to try that maybe different than what we have been doing on our own. Thank you for this yummy one.

A nice recipe but I use locatelle instead of parmesian.

I made this and we loved it. I threw the garlic in the bacon just before I was ready to take it out. I also added chicken to mine. We thought it was really good and I plan on making it again. I am glad to have seen this recipe, otherwise I would never have tried something new! Thanks!
