Ingredients

oz. (2 cups) uncooked pasta nuggets (radiatore)

teaspoons olive or vegetable oil

cup thinly sliced onions
1
garlic clove, minced
1
(28-oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained, cut up
1
(15-oz.) can cannellini beans, drained, rinsed
1
teaspoon dried oregano leaves

Directions

  1. 1 Cook pasta to desired doneness as directed on package.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir about 6 minutes or until onions are tender. Add tomatoes, beans and oregano; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5 to 10 minutes to blend flavors.
  3. 3 Drain pasta. Serve sauce over pasta. If desired, sprinkle with grated or shredded Parmesan cheese.
