I used to work at a preschool where we had cinnamon apples served a couple of times a month as a snack. After seeing pounds of apples that were never served to the children be thrown away each time we served them, I decided to search for a recipe where I could use them. I stumbled on this and began making these for teachers on the day after cinnamon apple snack day. I now make them at least twice a month for my husband, and the teachers who are still at that preschool are making them for one another. They are incredibly easy, and are wonderful in lunch boxes, for breakfast, or as a snack!!!

Wow! This recipe was great for a dorm room! I missed the homemade apple pie so I tried this and baked it in a little two well baking unit! And it was the perfect size not to mention that everyone on the floor loved it too!
