This one's a keeper. My husband came in from work saw the asparagus and roasted red pepper and was prepared not to like it. However, he likes bacon and agreed to give it a try. He loved it and even ate asparagus and peppers plus had a second helping. He agreed that it was a winner and that he'd have it again anytime. It was so easy to make and very delicious. We need more recipes like this one. So easy too!

The asparagus won't get super tender in the allotted time for cooking. If you like it slightly crisp the stated cook time is perfect.

This was a VERY easy dinner to make and I had to buy very few 'special' ingredients (who doesn't have bacon on hand?). Both hubby and I cleaned our plates and I have enough to hand to make it again soon. Next time I may drain out a little more of the bacon drippings for a slightly less-greasy mouthfeel on the pasta, but that's a minor point on an otherwise excellent recipe.

I made this for dinner and we loved it! This is going to be one of my top go to recipes from now on! This was so easy and with fresh asparagus,it just screamed SPRING!

Made this the other night with roasted chicken breasts. A big hit at our house. Did add a little extra parmesan cheese. Even my 2 year old granddaughter loved it. thumbs-up at our house.
