I have made this salad several different times and it was the rave each time. I have also added my own little changes by adding orange marmalade, fresh dried (UNSWEETENED) coconut. Additionally, according to the occasion I have prepared the sweet potatoes as directed (when they had to travel to work and then back to go to a church dinner); or cooked whole and then diced for an afternoon cookout (my preference).

I took this to an extended-family potluck, and I have never been asked for the recipe so many times! It was a huge hit. I also tried adding a handful of sunflower seeds to it, and that was a nice addition.

this sounded okay but was just way to sweet for our taste...it went in the garbage!

This was excellent and so simple. Next time I'm adding toasted pecans or walnuts. Great recipe.

The dish was easy to make, is very healthy, and looks very colorful. I added a little cinnamon and nutmeg to add a bit more flavor and plan to add either walnuts or almonds the next time I make it. This will be an excellent side to make for a potluck dinner.

This would be better to me if the ingredients were not full of calories & sugar. The cranberries could be changed to any kind of fresh berries, with a good yogurt the honey would not be needed, maybe some chopped or shaved almonds as an option, and cut up oranges (might need to drain that before adding) for fiber.......just suggesting.

I FOUND RECIPE BORING. A FEW VARIATIONS COULD MAKE EASIER AND ADD MORE TASTE. I WOULD USE ORANGE MARMALADE INSTEAD OF HONEY AND ORANGE PEEL. COULD USE PLAIN OR VANILLA YOGURT AND ADJUST AMOUNT OF MARMALADE TO TASTE. IF YOU ARE NOT FOND OF CELERY, USE EITHER SMALL DICED ONION OR RAW APPLE OR BOTH. A LITTLE MAYO WOULD MAKE A LITTLE CREAMIER. DRIED CHERRIES OR RAISINS COULD BE SUBSTITUTED FOR CRANBERRIES. USE A LITTLE SALT AND PEPPER TO ENHANCE FLAVORS. IF YOU LIKE THEM ADD CHOPPED WALNUTS OR PECANS.THESE IDEAS ALLOW YOU TO USE WHAT YOU HAVE ON HAND.
