I was skeptical at first after reading reviews that said they threw the whole pan away, but decided to try since they sounded so good and I was pleasantly surprised at the delicious bars reminiscent of dreamsicles! I made exactly as recipe stated using the orange extract in place of the liqueur.

I made this for my husband - he loves most things orange flavored. But we both disliked this recipe very much. We each tried one piece and the rest got thrown in the trash.

This is for Linda3408 who questioned what to do with the leftover heavy cream. Could you beat it into whipped cream? I think a dollop with a sprinkling of orange zest would be a wonderful garnishment!

I did not like the finished product at all. I made it with the intentions of bringing to a cookout, but threw the whole pan away. The consistancy was not good and the flavor was just not there. Blech!

I made this for my grandma for her birthday & it was a big hit! The orange extract & marmalade really make it special. It added that extra kick that was just enough to remove it from the general category of "plain old cheesecake", yet not so much that that it took away from the creamy cheesecake flavor everyone loves at it's base. Last min. I ran out of red coloring so was forced to improvise. I took some Reddi Whip & made a circle in the middle of the cake & spooned some of the marmalade into it. I decorated the sides a bit wt the whip cream as well. This might be a good alt. for diabetics

if you remember dreamscicles-this is it! awesome taste. not sure the liqueur was necessary, don't go buy a bottle if you don't have it. don't leave out the orange peel! that is what gives it the intense orange flavor. the marmalade isn't enough. but what do i do with the leftover heavy cream i only needed 3 tablespoons of? ran out of baking chips, so used almond bark shredded up and it worked fine. would make them again definitely. adults and kids all liked it.

Just got this recipe in my inbox yesterday, and decided to make them today for a cookout. They were so good! The pan was emptied quickly, and several people asked for the recipe. I will definitely make them again. The only thing I did differently was leave out the orange peel. I felt there would be enough from the marmalade.
