Anyone that doesn't want the sugar cookie crust should try a yellow cake is with one egg and i stick of melted butter. That is the base for gooey butter cake that my husband's grandmother used to make. It is so good .

I made this last night, to bring into work today. I did not have the extract, or liqueur -but used 1 tablespoon orange jello from the pkg. That worked. The topping was another story, it didn't harden. Wish I would have simply used double chips with butter and jello powder again. But the bars themselves were heavnly.

I haven't made it yet, just wanted to suggest to the lady that her family doesn't like sugar cookies and wanting another idea for the crust...I would try graham cracker crust. Just a thought!!!

So disappointed ;-( The topping was so sweet, no one liked it. It was not what I expected.

What I do with left over whipped cream is this. I whip and flavour it then put dollops (one serving or so) on a cookie sheet covered with waxed paper. Put in freezer and when frozen, remove and separate with pieces of waxed paper and put in freezer bag. Freezes beautifully and thaws quickly. I always keep some on hand.
