I just made this recipe tonight and was very disappointed. I followed the recipe to the letter but the result seemed heavy and "greasy" because of the whipped topping. I am not a fan of Cool Whip because it tastes greasy to me.
If I make this recipe again, I would use regular whipping cream and sweeten it slightly with powdered sugar while whipping. I would also use cream cheese rather than Mascarpone which really doesn't have much of a flavor. I think the flavor of cream cheese would greatly enhance the overall taste. This dessert should be light and delicate. It was not.

I hastily chose this recipe to take to a friend's house for dinner. I bought the ingredients, really without giving it too much thought. When I began putting this together, I thought it was the strangest combination. When we all tasted it, the raves wouldn't stop. Everyone was totally amazed at the wonderful but diverse flavors actually working together. One tip...make sure it sits longer than one hour. After one hour, I tasted the fillings and thought them a bit odd. The next day, however, the were outstanding!! Don't pass this one up...

Was delicious. Only rated a four because I thought the orange and coffee flavours were a little strong. Very nice presentation.

This recipe was excellent. I brought it to an Easter dinner and it was a hit.

excellent presentation; melt in your mouth sweetness with a slight crunch of coconut.
