Sorry, but 370 calories is more than I consume for breakfast & lunch combined.Nothing can taste good enough to justify that calorie count.

wow! one of the best bars I've eaten. Took them to a family gathering and they were the hit of the party!! I used walnuts instead of pecans and mixed in some milk chocolate chips just because that's what I had on hand. Will definitely make again!

Simple recipe that tastes like you spent a long time to prepare. I did use milk chocolate chips instead of semi sweet but everyone loved it. Went over with a bang at our family 4th of July celebration. Yummy, yummy, yummy!!!

Forgot--I also substituted cashews for the pecans--the cashews are less rich.

They are delicious, but I think you should add that they can "boil over" in the oven resulting in an "ooey-gooey" clean-up. Also they are best cut after leaving them overnight and using a non-serrated knife which one wipes with an oiled paper towel between each cut. I also used chocolate graham cracker crumbs instead of regular ones. Very tasty!

My husband requested that I make these bars as his one birthday present. Each time I have made these he has eaten almost the whole pan himself!

Amazing. I have made these about 3x and my family jokes and says to stop making them because they are so good you can't stop eating them. They stay good for a few days but don't refrigerate or the caramel will harden. They are good cut small (since they are rich) and put in those tiny cupcake wrappers.
