AMAZING!! I was concerned after reading some reviews. I made them last night and they were a huge hit today. No problems with it boiling over. Followed the recipe exactly. The sugar cookie dough did bubble up so they didn't look exactly like the picture but I wasn't concerned. I did let them sit overnight. No problems cutting or removing from baking dish. A must try for all.

Made these according to recipe for church pot luck. They went so fast I didn't even get one. Everyone wanted the recipe so I told them to log on and download!

We refer to these delicious and easy bars as "Fat Ladies" Our recipe is almost identical. We bake the cookie dough until just golden brown, sprinkle with the chocolate bits, whole pecans and finally pour melted Kraft Caramels that have been thinned with some heavy cream over the top. Cool and cut into squares or thin bars. A holiday favorite!

I didn't make these but I ate some. They were the best cookie bars I've ever had! The Baker substituted walnuts for pecans.

I made these bars and added coconut as the first layer before the chocolate chips and I did not use the graham cracker crumbs. These were so delicious and everyone loved them. So yummy!

These bars are awesomingly good!!! I ran out of pecans after I put some on the sugar cookie crust. I proceeded with the carmel, graham cracker mixture, then I put sliced almonds, coconut & then the rest of the chocolate chips. Oh sooo gooood they turned out wonderfully good. I will make these again and again. Sooooper dooooper easy to make.

I love this recipe however I felt the chocolate and amount of butter took over the taste of the bar. I then tried 1/2 the amount of butter and a 1/4 c less of the choc chips. I liked it better the second time because we could taste the sugar cookie dough without being overpowered by the chocolate and butter. Also, im allergic to tree nuts so substituting crushed peanuts works well too. a yummy dessert that i will make repeatedly!

Directions didn't say if you were to bake cookie layer first. I didn't and I have a ooey-gooey mess. The cookie oozed up through the carmel layer and did not turn out like picture. A rather expensive flop! I'm wondering if baking the bottom layer first would have helped?

OMG is the best discription for this bar. It is very rich and a little pricey to make but well worth it. It is so easy to do as well and my family went crazy for it . LOVE ITTTTTTTTTTTTTT
