Olé Beef Patties

A great Mexican dinner that can be made ready in just 20 minutes using ground beef and turkey - a broiled distinctive meal!

Ingredients

1/2
lb extra-lean (at least 90%) ground beef
1/2
lb lean ground turkey
1/4
cup ketchup
1
teaspoon dried minced onion
1
tablespoon chopped green chiles (from 4.5-oz can)

teaspoon chili powder
Salsa, if desired
  • 1 Set oven control to broil. In large bowl, mix ground beef and turkey. Stir in remaining ingredients. Shape mixture firmly into 4 patties, 1/2 inch thick. Place on broiler pan.
  • 2 Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat 10 to 12 minutes, turning once and watching carefully to prevent burning, until thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 165°F. If desired, serve with salsa.
