Using this recipe I was able to replicate my Grandma's Old-Fashioned Oatmeal Cake w/Broiled Topping. Moist & delicious, this cake is as close to my Grandma as I'll get this side of Heaven! I add an extra tablespoon of milk to topping to make it easier to spread, and use old-fashioned oats as Grandma did. Don't plan on leftovers, my family polishes this off this same night its made!
