cups old-fashioned oats

apples, peeled, chopped

cup sweetened dried cranberries or raisins

tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

teaspoon ground cinnamon

teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. 1 Spray 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, mix all ingredients.
  2. 2 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 6 to 8 hours. Serve porridge with brown sugar and milk or cream, as desired.
