Ingredients

1 - Pillsbury® Refrigerated Pie Crust (at least 1 crust) 14.1 oz box
4-ounces
whipped cream cheese
¾-cup
pecans, rough chopped
½-cup
light brown sugar – do not pack
1-tablespoon cinnamon

  • 1 Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees.
  • 2 Place a sheet of parchment paper on a regular sized cookie sheet. Unroll 1-pie crust out onto the parchment paper. This will allow the pie crust to come to room temperature (according to package directions) during prep.
  • 3 Using a hand chopper or food processor and roughly chop the pecans.
  • 4 In a medium bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, light brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir well to com
  • 5 With a spatula, spread the whipped cream cheese over the entire pie crust.
  • 6 Sprinkle an even layer of the cinnamon mixture on top of the cream cheese–using the entire mixture.
  • 7 Slowly roll, as tight as possible, creating a log.
  • 8 Bake the roll for 20-25 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.
  • 9 Cool on wire rack for 3-5 minutes, if desired.*
  • 10 Slice into 10-½ inch “pinwheels” to serve.

*The pinwheels can be sliced immediately. Also, I’ve substituted 4-tablespoons melted butter when I’m out of cream cheese.
